SAP Project Manager - Finance and Procurement (m / f / d)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SAP Project Manager to lead the interface connection of SAP systems to our corporate SAP landscape, focusing on Finance and Procurement modules.

This role requires a blend of traditional waterfall project management expertise and familiarity with agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex SAP projects.

Responsibilities :

• Interface Management : Control and manage the interface connection of SAP systems to the corporate SAP landscape, ensuring seamless integration and data flow.
• Project Planning & Execution : Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Risk Management : Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing effective contingency plans.
• Stakeholder Communication : Serve as the primary point of contact for executives and key stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
• Project Documentation : Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans in MS Project, status reports, and meeting minutes.
• Steering & Workshops : Prepare and facilitate steering committee meetings and stakeholder workshops, ensuring alignment and effective decision-making.
• Quality Assurance : Ensure compliance with quality standards and methodologies throughout the SAP project lifecycle.
• Methodology Application : Apply both classic waterfall (MS Project) and agile methodologies (SAFe, SCRUM) as appropriate for SAP project delivery.

Required Skills and Experience :

• Proven experience in managing SAP projects, particularly those involving interfaces to Finance and Procurement modules.
• Strong understanding of SAP S / 4HANA and the integration of SAP systems within complex corporate landscapes.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP interface connections and related technologies.
• Proficiency in classic waterfall project management methodologies, with hands-on experience using MS Project.
• Experience with agile methodologies such as SAFe and SCRUM, specifically within the context of SAP projects.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, while maintaining effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
• Fluency in English.
• Willingness to travel to Frankfurt am Main occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or SAP.
• Experience in international project environments.
