YOUR ROLE & PROFILE

We have grown rapidly in recent years: more revenue, more projects, more colleagues. Now, the focus is on structuring, optimizing, and consolidating this growth. The HAHN BAU GRUPPE bundles central services for clients and employees to achieve this—and this is exactly where you can take responsibility with your financial expertise. Whether you have a bachelor's degree in business or a commercial background—such as in tax accounting—along with relevant professional experience: what matters most to us is the complete package you bring as an individual, including your drive and interest in numbers and accounting entries. Relevant advanced training in (financial) accounting, such as a certification as a balance sheet accountant, is an added advantage.

• Preparation and creation of monthly and annual financial statements, including integration with sustainability criteria, as well as the annual proof of use for institutional grant providers in collaboration with our tax office
• Preparation and handling of tax matters for the companies belonging to the HAHN BAU GRUPPE
• Compiling audit documentation and collaborating with auditors, tax advisors, and examiners from potential grant providers
• Assisting with invoice verification
• Ensuring the timely and proper recording of all business transactions
• Continuous account maintenance, including VAT assessment of industry-specific issues (e.g., Section 13b of the German VAT Act, reverse-charge procedure, property developer contracts, and input tax deduction)
• Support with cost center accounting
• Handling correspondence with financial institutions and managing payment transactions (via DATEV Unternehmen Online)
• Managing the cash book in DATEV Unternehmen Online
• Support with liquidity planning, dunning processes, and our guarantee management
• Processing construction withholding tax (
• 48b EStG) and coordination with subcontractors
• Ideally, knowledge of VOB/B is an advantage (not mandatory)

Your Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a tax clerk
• or a commercial apprenticeship with relevant professional experience
• or a bachelor's degree in business or economics
• At least 5 years of professional experience
• Further training in financial accounting is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of tax topics is desirable
• Basic knowledge of building materials and construction equipment (VOB) is not mandatory
• High level of self-organization and an independent, structured way of working
• Sensitivity to sustainability and certification requirements
