Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments of existing network infrastructures, identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and document High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD).
- Define and maintain network standards, protocols, and best practices to ensure scalability and consistency.
- Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies into network designs to deliver innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive network solutions.
- Define technical requirements and specifications for network equipment, protocols, and services.
- Conduct proof-of-concept testing to validate network solutions and configurations.
- Configure network components, including Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Partner with security teams to integrate robust security measures into network designs.
- Identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities and risks to ensure network resilience.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards related to network security.
- Stay informed of evolving security threats and implement proactive solutions.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proven track record in Network Design (HLD/LLD), Implementation, and Delivery.
- Expertise in Routing & Switching with hands-on experience in Cisco Nexus and Catalyst platforms.
- Strong knowledge of firewalls and security integration in network environments.
- Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN) and modern network technologies.
- Certifications: CCNP or CCIE (or equivalent).
- Proficiency in German (spoken and written).
