This is an opportunity to join a leading global service provider who is looking to recruit a Full Stack Developer for their Aviation client on an initial 12-month contract.
The ideal candidate is an expert in frontend development with solid knowledge in backend technologies. You will be working on cutting-edge projects in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Your ability to write clean, maintainable code and adapt quickly to new challenges will be essential to your success in this role.
Due to the role, it is expected that you will be on-site 2 days a week in Brussels.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using Java 17, SpringBoot, and ReactJS 18.
- Implement front-end interfaces with TypeScript, ReactJS, and Redux Toolkit, ensuring responsive and intuitive user experiences.
- Design and integrate RESTful APIs with backend systems, leveraging NPM, Docker, and Podman for efficient development and deployment.
- Use Gradle for build automation and manage version control with Git and Bitbucket.
- Write clean, scalable, and testable code, utilizing JUnit and Mockito for unit testing.
- Deploy and manage applications in a LINUX (Red Hat 8) environment, with an added advantage if you have experience with OpenShift.
Skills/Must have:
- Frontend Expertise: Proven experience with ReactJS 18, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, and NPM.
- Backend Knowledge: Strong understanding of Java 17, SpringBoot, REST APIs, Docker, and Gradle.
- Testing Skills: Proficiency in writing unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Version Control: Experience with Git and Bitbucket.
- Operating Systems: Hands-on experience with LINUX (Red Hat 8).
- Nice to Have: Familiarity with OpenShift.
