Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including routers, switches, and cabling systems.
- Ensure the data center operates efficiently through proper configuration and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.
- Monitor network performance to identify potential issues and optimize efficiency
- Basic splicing or desire to learn basic splicing.
- Working at heights, either climbing or bucket truck usage.
- Running wire, pulling cable, and handling Fiber for Fiber to the Home.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 1 – 3 years of experience in telecommunications, preferably within OSP
- Experience with splicing, pulling cable, OSP construction, and running wire, bucket truck skills, climbing.
- Basic fiber optics and copper cabling.
