System Architect - Telecommunications

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype system-level concepts for advanced communication systems (e.g., satellite, 5G/6G, Wi‑Fi).
• Integrate SoCs, FPGAs, and peripherals into complete proof-of-concept (PoC) systems.
• Collaborate with internal R&D and partner teams on system integration and HW/SW co-design.
• Develop and optimize end-to-end PoC systems, ensuring reliable data flow and interoperability.
• Document architectures and create reusable reference designs for future projects.

Skills/Must have

• 5+ years in product or system development for communication or networking devices.
• Strong background in system-level architecture and integration (hardware + software).
• Hands‑on experience with SoCs, FPGAs, and embedded platforms.
• Proficient in C/C++ and Python with solid understanding of Linux/RTOS environments.
• Knowledge of communication protocols (Ethernet, 5G/6G, TCP/IP).
• Skilled in HW/SW co-design and prototyping workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English; basic German is an advantage.

Salary

• €80,000–€120,000
