Datacenter Electrical Technician in Berlin

A leading European data center operator is looking for an electrically focused Facility Engineer to join their team in Munich. This is an excellent opportunity for engineers with an electrical or building services background to transition into the fast-growing data center industry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and coordinate electrical and mechanical maintenance across the facility




• Ensure compliance with all technical, safety, and legal standards




• Manage and oversee contractors and service providers




• Work with the NOC team to monitor and resolve incidents




• Participate in a paid on-call rotation (including nights/weekends)




• Perform minor repairs and component replacements

Required Skills & Experience

• Training or qualification in electrical engineering (air conditioning or similar backgrounds also considered)




• Willingness to obtain switching/voltage authorizations (training provided)




• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving ability




• Hands‑on, flexible, and team‑oriented approach




• Comfortable with on-call responsibilities
