The Opportunity
A Cisco Gold Partner is looking for an experienced L2/L3 Network Engineer to join a major aerospace client site in Hamburg. This role offers genuine progression, with a clear path to step up into a Senior/Lead position as the successful candidate settles in and takes on more ownership.
There's a strong appetite internally to develop this person into a go-to figure on the account, someone who can help get ahead of recurring issues and bring more structure to the support function.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing L2/L3 network support across a complex enterprise environment
- Troubleshooting and resolving escalated network incidents
- Working towards a transition into a Senior/Lead role, taking on more responsibility over time
- Helping to address and reduce a backlog of recurring internal issues
- Collaborating with a wider technical team to improve support processes
Shift Pattern
- 8-hour shifts, covering 7am to 7pm
- Roughly half your shifts will start between 7am and 10am (on-site)
- The remaining shifts start after 10am (remote/work from home)
What You'll Need
- Strong L2 Networking experience (Cisco environments)
- Firewall experience with Palo Alto
- German language skills to at least B2 level
