Team Lead Requirements Engineering 80-100% (all genders)
For our Laboratory Weighing (LabTec) division, which is the world’s leading manufacturer of laboratory balances, we are looking for an enthusiastic Team Lead Requirements Engineering at METTLER TOLEDO’s global operational headquarters in Greifensee.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
- Leading the Requirements Engineering Team: developing individual team members, fostering a positive team spirit, aligning organization and stakeholders, and continuously developing and optimizing the RE processes and tools.
- Contributing as Requirements Engineer in development projects.
- Managing requirements elicitation, structuring, and documentation to translate product ideas into clear SW & HW requirements that are the basis for implementation, testing, and documentation.
- Ensuring efficient collaboration and know-how transfer between different Product Groups, Product Managers, and R&D.
- Implementing best practices and moderating workshops and reviews.
- Visualizing concepts and ideas and developing the basis for decision-making.
What You Need to Succeed
Following requirements are necessary for this role:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or computer science discipline, with relevant working experience in RE.
- At least 2-3 years of leadership experience, people development, and managing projects or initiatives.
- Solid background in requirements engineering, with experience in SW application and product development as well as process development.
- Preferably experienced in the laboratory environment combined with knowledge of the high-tech manufacturing industry.
- Strong conceptual and analytical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to communicate cross-culturally with colleagues, team members, and customers in English and German.
