Responsibilities
- Refine the actuarial modelling and database applications used worldwide within the Hannover Re Group and strive to bring about the greatest possible automation of our reporting and the risk capital calculations in the life and health reinsurance division.
- Automation of the contract modelling for our international locations that reflects reporting requirements arising out of internal actuarial processes as well as (inter)national financial reporting standards for insurance contracts.
- Connecting the international locations to the central actuarial system landscape in life and health reinsurance.
- Ongoing refinement and maintenance of the actuarial systems used.
- Conducting user training activities in relation to the actuarial system landscape.
You come equipped with
- Master’s degree in (industrial or business) mathematics or computer science.
- Experience in a higher programming language.
- Ideally, experience in programming MS-SQL, C++, C#.NET or WPF applications.
- Familiarity with life (re)insurance products is an advantage.
- Willingness to train as a certified actuary (DAV).
- Proficient user skills in English and conversational skills in German.
- Conceptual abilities and capacity for analytical thinking.
- Assured manner in interactions with internal customers.
- Enthusiastic team player.
