Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Reinsurance Accounting & Valuation team at our headquarters in Hanover / Germany, join us on a temporary basis for 2 years, commencing as soon as possible as a Reinsurance Accountant US Professional Liability. Part-time basis possible with at least 23 hours per week.
Aufgaben
- Review, processing and posting of reinsurance statements of account for US business
- Claims processing including sanction review
- Participation in the preparation of annual and quarterly financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB
- Correspondence with internal and external customers, also in English
- Collaboration on automation and digitalisation initiatives
Qualifikationen
- Degree in business administration and/or commercial training with corresponding professional experience in accounting or finance
- English and German language skills at a conversational level
- Accounting know-how according to IFRS and HGB
- Experienced user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as SAP
- Team player
- Good analytical skills and understanding of numbers
