Overview
In this temporary, full-time role based in Hannover, you will analyze motor, property, and casualty markets and translate data into actionable recommendations. You will develop actuarial tools and support portfolio analyses focused on E+S Rück's business while shaping automated underwriting and a future-oriented systems landscape. You will assess regulatory impacts, especially Solvency II, on the German reinsurance portfolio. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position in a collaborative team working across cross-functional partners. You will join a diverse team committed to responsible, driven progress in a dynamic insurance environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Analyze motor, property, and casualty markets and derive well-founded recommendations
- Prepare portfolio analyses with insights for business units
- Develop and optimize actuarial tools using R, Excel, and BI/MicroStrategy
- Contribute to automation of underwriting processes and future-proof systems
- Assess the impact of Solvency II on the German reinsurance portfolio
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Successfully completed degree in (Business) Mathematics, Economics, or a comparable quantitative field
- Professional experience in the (re)insurance industry with knowledge of motor, property, and casualty insurance
- Actuarial expertise (e.g., DAV courses, CERA or equivalent) ideally with DAV certification
- Proficiency in R for actuarial calculations and programming
- Native-level German and conversational English
- Willingness to undertake occasional one- to two-day business trips
