Overview
As a Senior Underwriter in the MB52 department, you will shape an international reinsurance portfolio and drive sustainable profitability. You will work closely with cross-border colleagues to assess risk, price, and structure treaties for German cedants and other markets, while developing strong client relationships at decision-maker level. You contribute to underwriting strategy and portfolio development, leveraging market insight and analytical rigor. This role offers the chance to impact portfolio mix, capital efficiency, and team capability in a collaborative, international setting.

- Own end-to-end underwriting process from risk assessment to contract negotiations

- Manage and grow relationships with cedants and brokers at decision-maker level

Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in business administration, (business) mathematics, law or a comparable qualification
- Several years of (re)insurance experience, ideally in underwriting
- Experience in independently managing portfolios and international client relationships
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, pricing and contract structuring
- Business-fluent in German and English
