You combine strong underwriting expertise with international market and client exposure, playing an active role in shaping Hannover Re's reinsurance business across the Caribbean region.You can look forward toManaging Caribbean property and casualty business within an international reinsurance environmentAnalyzing reinsurance submissions and assess the associated risksCalculating risk-adequate premiums and underwrite property and casualty risksIdentifying market trends and monitor relevant primary insurance markets and key market participantsCommunication with brokers and clients and support business relationships in Spanish and EnglishMaintaining existing client relationships and develop new contacts through business travel and industry eventsYou come equipped withDegree in Business Administration, Insurance, Mathematics or a comparable field of studySeveral years of professional experience within the reinsurance industryStrong analytical skills and confident use of ExcelFluent Spanish and English language skills, together with a willingness to acquire basic German language skillsInterest in travelling to the Caribbean (approximately two to four times per year) for client visits and market events, with travel planned flexibly within the teamConfidence in handling complex issues, strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to an international environmentYou may not meet every requirement listed in the job description.
