Qualifications
Be a part of our dynamic IT Portfolio Management team at Hapag-Lloyd AG, where you'll play a crucial role in establishing greater transparency in project prioritization and strategy alignment. As a Working Student, you'll have the opportunity to support IT product and project managers across our entire IT organization. Your responsibilities will include developing training materials and templates, providing daily governance support and preparing, conducting and following up on workshops with business and IT stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building the new IT Portfolio Management team, contributing to increased transparency in project prioritization and alignment with the strategy
- Support IT product and project managers by creating training materials, templates and answering governance-related queries
- Prepare, execute and follow up on workshops with business and IT stakeholders
- Provide project management support for cross-functional IT projects
- Assist in creating and post-processing communication materials (e.g., SharePoint, newsletters) and decision-making documents (e.g., PowerPoint)
- Analyze and visually present project and portfolio management-related data
- Administer essential standard tools for project and portfolio management
- Regularly audit process adherence based on data quality and identify training needs
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a relevant field of study (e.g., IT, Business Administration, Project Management) with a strong interest in IT Portfolio Management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is an advantage
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Good time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Fluency in English, with German language skills being a plus
