The role

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Berlin, sitting within the Engineering department. You would be responsible for shaping the interface and overall experience of the AI-powered OS that installers worldwide use to run their businesses.

What you would do

You would design the AI-powered OS, defining the interface and experience that renewable energy installers rely on day to day. You would approach design with a product lens, going beyond the brief to understand the "why" and balancing user needs with business impact. You would set and maintain a high bar for UX/UI quality across every surface of the product, ensuring designs are intuitive, accessible, and genuinely delightful. You would redesign existing flows and build new ones from scratch, prototyping and iterating quickly to maximize value. You would also challenge ideas that do not meet the quality bar and collaborate closely with product and engineering to raise UX standards across the board.

What they are looking for

A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, from discovery to execution, with high-quality craft and problem-solving. At least 2 years of experience as a product or UX designer, ideally in a startup or product-driven environment. Strong product sense and comfort with ambiguity, including the ability to make trade-offs that balance user and business impact, focus on outcomes over output, and iterate quickly and autonomously. A solid grasp of digital funnels, onboarding, and conversion journeys, along with experience using both quantitative data (A/B tests, funnel metrics) and qualitative data (user research, feedback) to grow feature adoption, activation, and retention. Ability to leverage AI tools to speed up concepting and prototyping. Clear communication skills, with the ability to translate requirements for developers and product stakeholders, backed by empathy for the user and a keen eye for design.
