CGM (CompuGroup Medical) is a leading provider of software solutions for the healthcare sector, active in 19 countries and employing over 9,000 people. The company's mission is that no one should suffer or die simply because a medical information was unavailable at the right time or place. CGM builds digital infrastructure for healthcare providers, including access clients for Germany's Telematikinfrastruktur (TI).

The role

This position focuses on the continued development of CGM's TI 2.0 access client, which provides digital access to Germany's Telematikinfrastruktur. You would take ownership of the product across its full lifecycle, working to make access to the TI simpler, more secure, and more user-friendly for medical practices and healthcare institutions. The role sits within an interdisciplinary environment spanning development, UX/UI, sales, and customer success teams.

What you would do

  • Own the full product lifecycle of the TI 2.0 access client, developing modern, user-friendly, and secure access models for the Telematikinfrastruktur.
  • Analyse and prioritise requirements from medical practices, healthcare institutions, and other users, and translate them into a customer-oriented product strategy.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, UX/UI, sales, customer success, and external stakeholders such as gematik.
  • Represent the voice of the customer consistently, validating product ideas and features with users to ensure they can be understood and used without extensive training.
  • Plan and conduct customer interviews, workshops, usability tests, and feedback sessions.
  • Monitor market, competitive, and TI developments to identify new product opportunities.

What they are looking for

  • Several years of strong professional experience in product management of digital products or software solutions, ideally with a track record in user-centred product development and digital user experiences.
  • Strong customer orientation and empathy for users, with the ability to translate complex technical topics into simple, practical solutions for everyday use in medical practices.
  • Good understanding of UX and UI principles, and experience working with interdisciplinary development teams and external stakeholders including large customers and partners.
  • Confident stakeholder management skills, with strong communication and facilitation abilities to represent the customer perspective internally and externally.
  • A structured, analytical, and self-directed working style, and comfort with agile methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience in healthcare or knowledge of the Telematikinfrastruktur is an advantage but not required.

Working arrangements

The role is based in Koblenz, Germany, with a hybrid model: two days per week working remotely and three days on-site.

Pay and benefits

The salary is listed as competitive.

  • access to an in-house academy and external training partners (covering methods such as Design Thinking, User Journey Mapping, and Usability Testing)
  • on-site health checks through company health insurance partners
  • internal events (both on-site and remote)
  • a job-bike leasing option
  • employee discounts
  • access to corporate benefits from various partners
