Provide a clear result driven direction to the team and traceability for development progress & achievement of milestones supported by project leads. The success of this role will also be assessed on the timeliness of delivery, the engineering efficiency and quality.· Innovation – Drive innovation. Analyze competitive products and opportunities for Website will also actively work on building cooperations with leading universities teaching in the Audio Algorithm, AI/ML and Acoustic domain. He/she will create with the team new IP that helps to protect our technologies & differentiate from competitors while also considering any legal implicationsDeveloping & Leading a Team –Further develop, upskill and form a strong team of engineers & technologists who do innovation and technology development with expertise, passion and a result driven mindset. Establish credibility & trust throughout the organization as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.What You Need to Be Successful· Academic background – PhD preferred; Master\’s Degree in computer science or at least 15 years+ of related progressive technology experience and accountability in a technology driven environment.· Innovation – Well experienced in driving and developing class leading technologies – technical capability to guide strategically and lead resources. Extensive experience in research and development of digital (audio) signal processing algorithms. Expert knowledge in audio signal processing, in acoustics, psychoacoustics, acoustic benchmarking, sound quality, and related fields. Experience in professional SW engineering and Knowledge in AI/ML domain. Large experience working in the Automotive, Professional or Consumer Audio industry.· Algorithm & SW developmentHe/she shall have very good experience in professional algorithm & SW development and must bring 12+ years hands on experience in Matlab or Python Programming. In addition, a very good architectural background in designing effective SW solutions is required to be able to guide algorithm architects effectively. Knowledge of C/C++ object-oriented programming of DSPs is a plus.This lead shall also well understand methods to validate the development results against requirements (unit testing, code coverage; virtual testing).Additionally Experience with the development & usage of audio SW applications is required.· Leadership – This person should have a strong experience & background in leading & developing teams and Audio experts with a focus on innovation & technology. She/he must bring very good people leadership experience.A considerate, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards. Excellent technical skills, analytical thinker with high creativity.A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a strong leader and team player. A very good educator who is fostering sharing of information and serves as a mentor.· Feature Development – very experienced in driving and leading technology and project execution – technical capability to guide strategically and manage resources.
