As Principal Engineer, Perceptual & Workflow Validation, you are the authority for Sonic Trust and Workflow Trust within the API team. You embed as an expert to guide feature maturation through perceptual insights and structured alpha validation. You influence cross-functional projects to scale new technologies without compromising quality. You shape best practices for validation and mentor others, contributing to high-quality audio experiences and efficient release readiness.

- Act as expert alpha validator embedded in development teams and provide guidance throughout implementation
- Deliver detailed perceptual feedback to shape feature behavior before certification
- Identify system-level artifacts and workflow friction during early development
- Lead structured perceptual validation strategies across projects and release trains
- Design and oversee formal listening experiments with controlled comparisons
- Interpret perceptual findings and drive resolution of audio quality issues
- Define and evolve best practices for workflow integrity validation and perceptual certification
- Mentor team members and elevate perceptual validation capability
- Collaborate with benchmarking and user research teams for broader evaluations
- Act as authority during final Anchor-stage validation and release readiness discussions
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 10+ years in audio engineering, tuning, mastering, or equivalent high-level domain
- Bachelor in Sound Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Signal Processing or equivalent
- Ability to provide expert perceptual feedback during feature maturation
- Strong listening expertise to detect subtle artifacts and interactions
- Solid understanding of DSP behavior and perceptual consequences
- Experience influencing cross-functional teams and resolving complex quality issues
