Overview
As Pursuit Manager, you will grow Harman’s BMW automotive business by engaging early with the customer, identifying opportunities, and driving them to a favorable close. You will lead pursuit strategy, manage RFI/RFQ responses and commercial negotiations, and advocate Harman’s value proposition internally. The role sits at the intersection of sales, business development, and product offerings, shaping deals that align customer needs with Harman’s USPs. You will work with cross-functional teams to win strategic opportunities and accelerate growth. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a global, collaborative, and fast-paced environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Execute pursuit strategy for new business opportunities aligned with the customer account strategy
- Identify and create new pursuits and drive early engagement activities including war gaming and standards
- Own RFI/RFQ responses and manage the quote and commercial negotiations with the customer
- Advocate customer expectations internally and position Harman’s unique value proposition
- Understand customer expectations and define internal targets to meet them
- Identify key stakeholders and decision makers and develop strategies to win new business
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Min. 10 years of Automotive (OEM, Tier-1 or Tier-2) experience
- Experience or strong affinity with Harman Intelligent Cockpit portfolio, ideally with ADAS and IVI technologies
- Thorough understanding of P&L statements, business cases and quotes
- Strong hunting, influence and negotiation skills
- Understanding of Automotive OEMs organization and processes
