For our client, a famous company in the semiconductor sector, we are looking for a Hardware Test Engineer (m/f/d) in Böblingen.
Your Tasks:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute hardware and system-level tests in close collaboration with internal customers and project teams
- Define, introduce, and continuously improve test strategies, methodologies, and concepts at system level
- Ensure full traceability between requirements, test cases, and test results
- Set up, commission, maintain, and optimize test systems as well as laboratory infrastructure and capacity
- Execute hardware tests, including integrated software components, according to approved procedures and schedules
- Evaluate, document, and release test results
- Perform and coordinate root cause analyses for deviations and test failures
- Provide transparent communication on test status, risks, and deviations to relevant stakeholders
- Support capacity planning and optimization of test environments and laboratory utilization
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, quality standards, and applicable norms
- Act as a technical interface between test laboratory, development, systems engineering, and project teams
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field
- Several years of hands‑on experience in hardware testing, validation, or system-level verification
- Strong knowledge of test methodologies, measurement and test equipment, and development processes
- Experience with automation hardware, data analysis tools, or test result databases is an advantage
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working approach
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken, German (B2)
