The Vaud Cantonal University of Teacher Education provides professional training for teachers at all levels of schooling.
It conducts research and development work focused on the needs of teaching and education.
It offers continuing and advanced training, as well as a range of services, intended for all education professionals.
We are advertising the position of Training Assistant for the Certified Continuing Education Programme (ref. 473) Start date: 1 September 2026 or by agreement Work rate: 50%Contract duration: fixed-term contract of one year Salary level: class to be determined Your main activities consist of assisting the head of the Certified Continuing Education Programme as well as team members in the management, organisation, implementation and monitoring of certified continuing education services.
In this context, you participate in the preparation and dissemination of certified continuing education services and collaborate in their development.
You will be responsible for managing the organisation and implementation of specific mandates and services in collaboration with scientific staff.
You contribute to the development of the certified continuing education programme by ensuring the improvement of administrative management methods and tools.
These activities take place within the Certified Continuing Education Programme, which is attached to the Deputy Directorate of Continuing Education.
You hold a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification.
Training as a file manager is desirable, as is at least 3 years’ experience in a school environment (compulsory or post-compulsory education) or in a higher education or adult education institution in the public or private sector.
With excellent organisational skills, you know how to prioritise your tasks and are capable of managing several files simultaneously in an autonomous manner.
You are proactive and take initiatives to improve the administrative work of the programme.
You have strong written and oral French language skills, with knowledge of German considered an asset.
You are proficient in the usual IT tools relevant to your areas of expertise.
A personable individual comfortable with interpersonal relations, you have a good team spirit, with mutual support and collaboration being integral to your working style.
Positive and proactive by nature, your entrepreneurial spirit allows you to thrive in a dynamic, demanding and quality-oriented environment.
