Our client, a leading international financial services institution based in Luxembourg, is currently looking for a Fund Accountant PERE to join its Fund Administration team on a temporary basis. Your Responsibilities As a Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate production of Net Asset Values (NAVs) and delivering high-quality reporting within agreed deadlines for Private Equity and Real Estate funds. Fund Accounting Record and maintain all fund accounting transactions in the accounting system; Process portfolio transactions, including purchases and sales of investments; Monitor and reconcile cash movements and positions; Record income, expenses, accruals, and other accounting entries; Ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting records. NAV Calculation Perform reconciliations with Asset Managers and other stakeholders; Review and validate NAV calculations in accordance with internal procedures and controls; Ensure timely and accurate delivery of fund valuations. Reporting Support periodic valuation processes; Prepare regulatory and client-specific reports; Contribute to maintaining high standards of reporting quality and compliance. Your Profile Technical Skills Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; Previous experience in Fund Accounting, ideally within Private Equity and Real Estate (PERE) funds; Good understanding of the alternative investment industry; Knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory and legal environment is an advantage; Strong Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Fluency in English is required. French or German would be considered a strong asset. Personal Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy; Well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities; Proactive and capable of working independently; Able to perform effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines; Strong team-player mindset and excellent communication skills.
