The client is looking for an Engineer with a background in communication engineering at our location in Nuremberg to strengthen our System Test team.
The client is developing subsystems for high-speed optical networking applications in transmission and routing products.
The current product portfolio includes advanced 25Gbps, 50Gbps, 100Gbps, 400Gbps and 800Gbps transceiver for Datacenter, Metropolitan and Regional optical systems:
What you will do:
You will work in a team that executes tests of optical modules.
This includes:
Creation of test plan and test environment (test automation)
Documentation, buildup, and validation of the test setups
Implementation of tests scripts in python for manual and automated measurements
Initial bring up, operation and debugging of devices under test
Documentation and Analysis of test results and non-compliances
Work closely with the experts of the disciplines:
Architecture team
Firmware development
Hardware and PCB design
Optical components team
Skills required:
Programming experience in Python
Lab Experience building up and maintaining (optical) test setups
Experience in programming and usage of Measurement equipment
Background in Fiber-Optics
Fluent written and spoken English skills
