We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Architect to join a large-scale SAP transformation program. This role is ideal for a seasoned SAP Finance professional who combines deep hands-on SAP FI/CO expertise with strong solution architecture capabilities and has successfully delivered complex S/4HANA transformation initiatives.
You will play a key role in designing and shaping SAP Finance solutions across both greenfield implementations and brownfield conversion programs , working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and system integrators.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support end-to-end SAP FI/CO implementations and S/4HANA transformation programs
- Design scalable SAP Finance architectures aligned with business requirements
- Drive both Greenfield (new implementation) and Brownfield (system conversion) projects
- Analyze and implement SAP S/4HANA Simplification Items
- Lead fit-to-standard workshops and solution design discussions
- Support data migration activities including validation and reconciliation
- Configure and optimize SAP Finance modules including:
General Ledger (GL)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Banking
CO-PA
Asset Accounting
Controlling (CO)
- Ensure integration with other SAP modules and third-party systems
- Support testing cycles (Unit Testing, SIT, UAT) and Go-Live activities
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders
- Collaborate with international teams and system integrators
Required Skills & Experience:
- 12+ years of SAP experience
- Fluent German speaker
- Strong expertise as an SAP S/4HANA Finance Architect
- Hands-on experience across:
AR
AP
GL
Banking
CO-PA
- Experience as a Finance Architect on at least 2 SAP implementation projects
- Strong understanding of S/4HANA Finance transformation, simplification items, and data migration
- Experience delivering projects from a System Integrator environment
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation experience
- Experience in both Greenfield and Brownfield transformation programs
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
