Your Responsibilities:
- Configure the file service infrastructure and solutions for NetApp servers under the IMACD Secure service, ensuring alignment with secure site requirements
- Implement interfaces to identity management system, Active Directory (AD), and PKI certificate infrastructure (specific to Managed Private Cloud)
- Design, operate, and maintain logical access paths within a uniform namespace for all network drives using a domain-based distributed file system
- Configure, operate, monitor, and manage volumes, partitions, shares, directories, and both logical and physical disk components, including provisioning and installation
- Ensure all operations comply with GDPR, German Commercial Code (HGB), German Tax Act (AO), and internal data protection and IT security policies
- Provide expert consulting on best practices, integration methods, encryption solutions, device control technologies, and security evaluations
- Design and manage tools and infrastructure that enable end users to perform retention time-based file self-service restores
Your Skills and Abilities:
- Strong experience with NetApp file service infrastructure, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance in secure environments
- Proficient in integrating systems with identity management, Active Directory, and PKI infrastructures, especially in Managed Private Cloud setups
- Skilled in managing logical and physical storage components, including volumes, partitions, shares, and provisioning
- In-depth understanding of GDPR, HGB, AO, and enterprise IT security policies, with a focus on compliant data handling and retention
- Ability to advise on encryption, device control, integration strategies, and security evaluations.
- Experience in developing tools that support user-driven file recovery and lifecycle management
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in regulated environments
