Job Description

Seeking an experienced legal counsel for its litigation and compliance team for DACH region for a global IT company. Successful candidate will be required to manage potential commercial litigations in multiple jurisdiction independently in close collaboration with internal stakeholders finding strategic solutions; and manage all compliance initiatives. Job responsibilities include

1. Analyze, advise and manage internal stakeholders on potential disputes involving complex IT contracts. Should have excellent drafting skills with proficiency in English and German.
2. Drafting and review of Compliance Checklist. Scanning the horizon for regulatory changes that can impact IT companies; and providing strategic solutions in implementing and managing the compliance program.
3. Assessing litigation and compliance risk and provide periodic reports and strategic solutions. Planning and ensuring appropriate Internal compliance controls for relevant EU Directives already transposed or that will be transposed in future in Germany.
4. Reviewing and drafting of Company Policies in the region, to ensure that all policies are compliant with local laws. Provide advisory on local procedures.
5. Support in Mergers and Acquisitions and drafting of customer / vendor contracts
6. Providing Trainings to internal stakeholders on legal and compliance matters and independently managing and providing periodic reports / MIS to management.
7. Receipt and management of all legal correspondence. Translating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders for timely follow up and closure of all legal correspondence.
8. Take additional responsibility of Human Rights Officer as required under LKSG
