We are looking for a hands-on
Full Stack Solution Architect
to lead the technical architecture of a legacy application modernization program, transforming applications built on C++, C#, .NET and Adabas into a modern Java/Spring Boot and React-based web platform.
Key Responsibilities
Assess legacy application architecture, code components, integrations, dependencies and Adabas data structures.
Define current-state and target-state solution architecture.
Define the modernization strategy covering rewrite, refactoring, replacement, retirement and coexistence.
Design Java/Spring Boot backend architecture and REST APIs.
Define React/TypeScript frontend architecture and reusable UI patterns.
Define integration, security, data migration and deployment architecture.
Establish architecture standards and engineering guidelines.
Lead technical design reviews and architecture workshops.
Guide Java, React, integration, data and DevOps engineering teams.
Identify technical risks and dependencies and recommend mitigation approaches.
Work closely with project management, business, engineering, security, infrastructure and operations teams.
Mandatory Skills
Strong enterprise Solution/Application Architecture experience
Application modernization / legacy transformation experience
Java and Spring Boot
REST API and integration architecture
React and modern web architecture
Database and data architecture
Security and non-functional architecture
CI/CD and DevOps concepts
Strong technical leadership and stakeholder communication
Strongly Preferred good to have
C++ and/or C#/.NET legacy modernization experience
Adabas knowledge or comparable legacy database modernization experience
