HDI AG Your Tasks Underwriting & Portfolio Management: * Underwrite innovative liability risks, including platform-based and embedded insurance structures * Support the development of scalable new liability components within B2B2C business programs * Drive portfolio profitability through disciplined pricing, structuring and risk selection * Define underwriting strategy for affinity partners, group policy schemes, and distribution ecosystems * Apply data-driven underwriting approaches and contribute to innovative product structures Business Development & Market Expansion: * Leverage existing broker, partner and ecosystem relationships across APAC * Originate new group policy and B2B2C insurance opportunities (digital platforms, ecosystems, partnerships) * Position the company as a preferred carrier for new and innovative liability solutions * Closely collaborate with regional and global teams to align market strategy * Attending appropriate conferences, seminars, discussion groups, meetings and involvement with industry leaders as considered beneficial to the company Regulatory & Cross-Border Expertise: * Navigate regulatory frameworks across multiple APAC jurisdictions * Ensure compliance with local requirements while enabling cross-border program structures Claims & Risk Alignment: * Ensure tight integration between underwriting and claims * Involve Claims early for structurally relevant risks or new exposure types * Translate claims insights into underwriting standards, not bureaucracy Your Profile Experience * Minimum 7 years of underwriting experience in Liability, ideally affinity and/or group policy scheme * Proven experience in Embedded Insurance business * Strong track record in business development and portfolio growth * Established network across APAC (brokers, MGAs, platforms, partners) Technical Expertise * Deep understanding of liability products (preferably financial lines, general liability, or specialty lines) * Deep understanding in group policy contexts * Experience with structured programs, cross-border placements, or ecosystem partnerships Personal Capabilities * Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong commercial drive * Ability to operate independently in a growth-oriented market environment * Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills * Strategic thinking, solution oriented mindset combined with execution focus * Strong communication skills at all levels within the organisation and with external business partners
