Your key responsibilities include:
- Design and engineering of piping systems, frames and structures and static equipment for industrial heat pump systems
- Preparation and review of piping layouts, isometrics, datasheets, specifications, and calculations
- Mechanical design and assessment of pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and piping components
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g. PED, EN 13480, ASME, AD2000)
- Perform stress analysis and support material selection for piping systems
- Coordinate interfaces with our experts on process, mechanical, thermodynamic layout and controls
- Support fabrication, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities
- Review vendor documentation and technical quotations
- Participate in HAZOPs, design reviews, and technical risk assessments
Support CE marking and conformity assessment processes for pressure equipment.
Your Profile:
We are looking for a multi-disciplinary professional with the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- Several years of experience in piping and static equipment engineering
- Knowledge of pressure equipment regulations and international standards
- Experience with industrial heat pumps, industrial refrigeration plants, chemical, energy, or process industries preferred
- Familiarity with CAD and engineering software tools - i.e. CATIA V5
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and experience in cross‑functional collaboration.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to work in an international and multidisciplinary environment.
