Technical Product Designer (f/m/d)

Trainee as Technical Product Designers (f/m/d) – Specialising in Machinery and Plant Construction

Apprenticeship. We work on innovative solutions around the topic of complex metallic lightweight structures and are happy to pass on our knowledge.

Role Overview

After the basic course in the training workshop, you will learn the basics of technical drawing and the 3D CAD program Solid Works in the first year of training. You will then create 3D designs (fixture construction, individual parts, assemblies) according to manufacturing and structural specifications and derive these in 2D drawings. During your training you will pass through various departments such as the training workshop, prototyping, quality assurance or work preparation and learn about the interaction between these areas. Through process‑oriented work, you are the link between project management, work preparation, production and design.

Training Details

• Training period: 3.5 years
• Vocational school: part‑time tuition
• Educational qualifications: lower secondary school leaving certificate, general higher education entrance qualification
