To strengthen our software development team at our Lübeck location, we are seeking a candidate who stands out both professionally and personally. We offer you an exciting, independent role in a growing, highly innovative environment. At this location, we focus on OCT technology and system integration into medical devices from other vendors.
As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will develop hardware-oriented software solutions for complex imaging systems and their peripherals. Your solutions will provide essential software interfaces (APIs) and functions for our customers, laboratory operations, and our production and commissioning processes.

Your responsibilities
- Development & Architecture: Design and implementation of hardware-related software solutions in the demanding, highly regulated medical technology sector.
- Module Integration: Implementation, integration, and thorough documentation of cross-product software modules.
- Quality Assurance: Development of automated test concepts and interfaces to ensure our high quality standards.
- Lifecycle Management: Continuous further development and maintenance of existing product software.
- Hands-on: Hardware-oriented evaluation and direct troubleshooting of the developed solutions on the system.
- A successfully completed degree in computer science, engineering, physics, or a comparable qualification.
- At least 5 years of solid professional experience in software development with very good knowledge of C/C++.
- Practical experience in development in Windows and Linux environments, as well as proficiency with Git.
In addition, we welcome
- Experience in the medical technology field
- Knowledge of CMake and C#/.NET
- Basic knowledge of LabVIEW
- Basic knowledge of electronics

- A high degree of personal responsibility, team spirit, and a problem-solving, analytical work style.
- Good communication skills with fluency in spoken and written German and English.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 5%).
