For our Group Procurement team, we are looking for a Group Procurement Logistics Analyst (f/m/d) . The Group Procurement Logistics Analyst is responsible for data gathering and analysis in the logistics category with a strong focus on cost efficiency. Key tasks include data visualization using tools such as Tableau and coordinating with country representatives for data requests, generating comprehensive country- and group-level insights as well as deriving actionable operational and strategic implications.

This position is located in Heidelberg , Germany or other focus markets (e.g. India) and you will report to the Head of Group Procurement.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

  • Developing and maintaining a holistic view of transport, logistics and logistics cost data across the organization, facilitating informed decision-making and planning and leveraging data-driven metrics to evaluate supplier performance and pricing.

  • Conducting comprehensive analyses of procurement and logistics data to identify opportunities for enhancing operational efficiencies, optimizing saving potential and recommending transformative solutions that drive operational excellence while systematically collecting and organizing necessary data from diverse sources to support the procurement logistics team in their initiatives.

  • Utilizing Tableau for data visualization to create interactive dashboards delivering insights into procurement and logistics performance.

  • Communicating with country representatives for data requests and gathering information to perform respective analytics, supporting category leaders & procurement specialists in their strategy development and negotiations and proactively inform the category leaders/ specialists of identified optimization potentials.

  • Implementing relevant KPIs to effectively track and monitor organizational performance, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and fostering continuous improvement.

  • Supporting drive for digitalization tools in the Supply Chain.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Professional experience: Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Informatics, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management or related fields; experience in data analysis, including the ability to interpret complex datasets, generate reports, and derive actionable insights preferably for logistic or transportation; demonstrated ability to prepare and present findings to stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations; initial experience working collaboratively in cross-functional teams and across different departments; international work experience, preferably for logistics or transportation.

  • Technical know-how: Strong technical capabilities with database knowledge and experience with visualization tool Tableau; ability to critically analyze data, identify trends, and derive meaningful insights to inform decision making.

  • Behavioral know-how: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (min. English); strong technical capabilities with database knowledge and experience with visualization tool Tableau; ability to critically analyze data, identify trends, and derive meaningful insights to inform decision-making; hands-on mentality and commitment to deliver tangible results by independently driving analytics with country representatives; strong motivation to achieve best-cost solution within the given service parameters; proactive personality driving for continuous improvement and reduced cost.
