Account Manager Retail (m/f/d) – Cruise Liner
Your new job includes:
- As Ship Manager (m/f/d), you will develop the sales and customer frequency of the shops on board a well-known shipping company with exclusive cruise ships and will be an important contact person for the Shop Manager and the various departments within Heinemann. In particular, you will:
- Communicate regularly with the respective Shop Managers on board on all upcoming topics of the daily business, the current sales situation, supply topics or customer satisfaction.
- Ensure evaluation and analysis of sales figures and carry out sales planning per merchandise group.
- Visit each ship up to twice a year to check the presentation of goods, the processes in the stores and the stock situation, and to lead, motivate and develop the sales teams on board.
- Plan the supply of goods to the ships and take over active inventory management on board, as well as the planning, implementation and analysis of sales promotion measures.
- Develop individual sales strategies for the itineraries together with the sales teams on board.
- Be responsible for budget planning and target setting for the teams on board and regularly ensure that targets are being met.
- Be responsible for all operational tasks for the operation of the two WEMPE branches on board the ships MS EUROPA and MS EUROPA 2.
What you should bring along:
- A completed commercial apprenticeship with several years of professional experience in the service industry, ideally in retail or sales.
- Experience in the cruise industry desirable.
- Good knowledge of the product groups perfume and cosmetics, fashion, accessories and luxury goods.
- Confident handling of the MS Office package as well as in SAP and SAP BI.
- Business fluent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken.
- A quick perception, good organizational skills, desire for teamwork.
