(Junior) Product Owner Check Out (m/f/d)
Your new job includes
As part of the Sales Product Development Team, you will be responsible as Product Owner Check Out (m/f/d) for the strategic conception and implementation of a Check Out platform for all future checkout processes.
In particular, you will:
- be responsible for requirement management by creating user stories and acceptance criteria based on analyses of market trends and regulatory requirements
- develop and document target processes for the new POS system
- work closely with external service providers, internal sales and IT departments and our international locations to develop customer-centered solutions
- manage the agile development processes (Scrum, Kanban) and participate in sprint planning, refinements, reviews and retrospectives
- carry out functional acceptance tests of newly developed requirements in collaboration with a tester
- support a clear product vision incl. the product roadmap and strategy for the new introduction of digital POS systems as well as prioritizing features and improvements
- plan releases and manage success measurement based on relevant KPIs
What you should bring along
- Successfully completed studies in economics or computer science
- Ideally initial professional experience as a product owner or in a similar position in an agile project environment
- The ability to define processes and create solution-oriented requirements
- Analytical and conceptual strength, a structured way of working and strong communication skills
- Business fluent in German and English
- Ideally initial experience with Jira, Confluence or similar tools
- Very good understanding of technology and ideally experience with a centrally organised POS system in retail
