Your new job includes

As an architect/project manager you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of duty free and brand stores in Germany and abroad within a team of architects. In particular you will:

• be responsible for the design, planning and timely completion of new and refurbished national and international shops at airports, cruise ships and border shops.
• advise our in-house product range specialists on shop functions, furniture arrangement, product presentation and realisation.
• manage projects with internal and external project participants such as Gebr. Heinemann internal specialists, retail management, airport participants, authorities, external architects, technical building services engineers, building trades and furniture manufacturers.
• carry out cost management, cost control and schedule management and control.
• conduct contract negotiations with contractors and prepare the award of contracts.

What you should bring along

• Degree in architecture or interior design or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of planning and realisation experience (min. 3 years) in the field of architecture, preferably in project management and project control (service phase 4-8).
• Very good knowledge of CAD programmes, preferably ArchiCad 27, as well as the MS Office package and PhotoShop.
• Strong communication skills and experience in managing external planning offices and contractors, e.g. shopfitting companies.
• Service-orientation and confidence in dealing with deadlines for parallel projects.
• Fluency in German and English.
