Business Continuity Manager (m//d)

For our well-known client in the Frankfurt area, we are looking for a Business Continuity Manager (m/f/d) to ensure the implementation of the BCM lifecycle in the financial environment. The preferred start date is immediately. The assignment is long-term, initially for 12 months. An option to extend to 18 months is conceivable.

Your tasks:

1. Responsibility for the implementation and continuous development of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) lifecycle in the financial environment
2. Monitoring and control as 2nd line of defense and definition of standards for risk-oriented emergency preparedness
3. Advising and supporting specialist departments, branches and subsidiaries in the implementation of emergency preparedness measures
4. Planning, coordination and evaluation of emergency tests and exercises to ensure the bank\’s resilience
5. Implementation of lessons learned for the continuous optimization of emergency strategies
6. Active support in crisis situations, including coordination of the crisis team and situation assessment
7. Co-design and further development of innovative methods and technical solutions for effective and efficient business continuity management

Your profile:

1. Completed (technical) university degree (e.g. economics, computer science, business informatics)
2. or vocational training in the commercial sector
3. Initial experience in business continuity management or operational resilience management
4. In-depth knowledge of supervisory principles, management of non-financial risks as well as methodologies and good practices in emergency preparedness and crisis management (e.g. BC Manager, Crisis Manager certifications) desirable
