CBTC SYSTEM ENGINEER (M/F/X) – SENIOR

Business Center: Systems Engineering & Software Development

Locations: Berlin, Braunschweig, Leipzig and Stuttgart

YOUR CORE TASKS INCLUDE:

  • Creation of technical architecture and design concepts for upcoming projects
  • Proposal of alternative designs and presentation to internal and external stakeholders
  • Creation of functional and operational descriptions of the CBTC system to be developed
  • Creation of system requirements and/or review of requirements and interface specifications
  • Review of subsystem requirements and specifications
  • Support the V&V team with test specifications for the system/subsystem interfaces
  • Support the integration and commissioning of systems in the field
  • Leading technical meetings with stakeholders

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU:

  • A successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, computer science or similar
  • Several years of professional experience in signaling technology
  • Familiarity with railroad signaling systems, function and architecture of the subsystems
  • Knowledge of the relevant CENELEC standards
  • Experience in the creation and review of technical documentation
  • Experience in the development and certification of safety-relevant systems in the railroad environment is an advantage
  • Open, flexible, team-oriented and goal-oriented personality
  • Independent and proactive way of working as well as strong problem-solving skills
  • Very good German and good written and spoken English skills
