Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d) – Karlsruhe/ Pforzheim area

For our client (a manufacturer of metal processing systems) we are looking for an Embedded Software Developer (m/f/d) in the Karlsruhe/Pforzheim area, especially for someone who wants to develop technically and take on responsible tasks. The family-run company is successful worldwide thanks to its high-quality systems, which are developed and produced entirely in-house.

Tasks:

1. Programming hardware-related software in embedded C
2. Broad range of tasks, understanding of the overall product and the system around it
3. Taking on an interface function, close coordination with colleagues with different technical focuses in software, hardware, process technology, etc.
4. Documentation, testing, troubleshooting and error correction

Your skills:

1. Successfully completed technical studies or a comparable qualification
2. Professional experience in embedded software development (from approx. 3 years)
3. Good programming skills in C
4. Good experience with real-time operating systems (ideally FreeRTOS)
5. Strong communication skills and broad technical interest
6. Fluency in German and English

Nice to have:

1. Experience with ARM microcontrollers (32 bit)
2. Experience in the development of (digital) circuits (e.g. EAGLE or Altium)
3. Experience with FPGAs
4. Knowledge of automation technology/industrial communication (MQTT, Modbus, OPC/UA)
