We are a medium-sized company operating in the fields of automation technology, information technology, and electrical engineering. As one of the leading engineering companies in Thuringia, we develop and manufacture for the core areas of everyday life.
We currently employ around 160 people (m/f/d) at our company headquarters in Ilmenau. We are looking for full-time or part-time reinforcement for our Software + IT department:
Support and Software Testing Employee (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Support for our software products by phone, e-mail, or remote maintenance for business customers (B2B)
- Advising our business customers (B2B) and sales on the use of the software
- Designing test scenarios in collaboration with our developers and expanding our automated test environment
And: You decide for yourself whether you want to work remotely or on-site.
Your profile:
- Completed studies, completed training with initial professional experience in the IT environment, or a comparable qualification
- Knowledge of the Windows environment (desktop and server) and databases (e.g., MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
- Not afraid to learn programming and to work with the following technologies in the future: Programming or scripting languages, CI/CD (Jenkins), ticket system and source code management (Jira, Bitbucket), E2E test (Cypress)
- Organizational and communication skills
- Good knowledge of German and English
