For the Michelstadt location, we are looking for the

IT Administrator*

This is where you roll up your sleeves:

Network administration

• You are responsible for managing, monitoring and maintaining the company network
• You plan, configure and implement network solutions to ensure smooth connectivity
• You troubleshoot network issues and perform regular performance analysis
• You support our digitization project to connect production and our machines to the system and to control them in the long term

IT security

• You implement and maintain security policies and procedures, especially in relation to firewalls and VPNs
• You monitor network security and respond to security incidents
• You are responsible for updating the security software and ensuring protection against threats

ERP system (NAV)

• You support the integration, configuration and maintenance of the ERP system
• You are jointly responsible for problem solving in first-level support

This will earn you points:

• Successfully completed training in computer science, business informatics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in the field of network and system administration as well as the configuration and administration of firewalls and VPNs
• You have an in-depth understanding of network protocols, routing and switches
• You already have knowledge of working with Unifi network devices and Unix servers
• You will score special plus points if you ideally already have knowledge of the ERP system Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision)
• You have excellent communication skills to interact effectively with employees and service providers and also have the ability to explain complex, technical concepts in an understandable way
• You like to work independently and are good at prioritizing your tasks
• You enjoy working proactively to identify and solve IT challenges
