The Central Data Processing of the Tax Administration is the IT service and competence center of the tax administration of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate and is located in Koblenz.

The tasks to be performed include in particular

  • 1st and 2nd level support for the tax authorities\‘ computer center for the tax offices in Rhineland-Palatinate
  • Processing fault reports using an ITSM tool, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, specialist tax administration applications and cross-sectional applications
  • Processing requirements in the area of access management
  • Event monitoring

What you should bring with you:

  • Completed vocational training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) in the field of system integration or application development or a comparable vocational training of at least three years with an IT connection
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the entire MS Windows and Office product range in the area of client-server applications
  • Knowledge of hardware and peripheral devices
  • Ability to work independently in structured IT processes and contexts
  • Basic knowledge of ITIL and an ITSM tool
  • Professional experience as a service desk agent (m/f/d) in IT service management (desirable)
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken German (language level: competent use of language C1/C2)

This is a permanent, open-ended position. Extensive training in the topics and tasks will be provided by experienced colleagues.

The employment relationship is permanent. If the requirements under collective bargaining law and personal requirements are met, a classification up to pay group 9b TV-L can be made. If you are suitably qualified and meet the requirements under civil service law, it may be possible to become a civil servant at a later date.
