Your tasks
- Technical support of projects from the build phase to deployment
- Network configuration (routing, switching, wireless)
- Network and IP management (IPAM, monitoring tools, CMDB)
- Analyzing the causes of infrastructure and network problems and resolving them in a time-critical environment
- Writing technical documentation for new and existing network designs, implementations, processes and tools
Your profile
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, computer science or communication technology
- Business fluent in English
- Experience in German, French and/or Spanish an advantage
- Knowledge of IT networks, such as routing and switching or firewall knowledge
- Knowledge of Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions such as Cisco ACI and Cisco SDA
- Experience in operating LAN and WLAN infrastructures with Cisco technologies
- Programming and scripting experience an advantage (examples: Python, YAML, JSON)
- Knowledge of network security (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Stormshield and Cisco ASA firewalls)
- Understanding of IT services (Active Directory, SCCM, IAM) and virtualization technologies (vmWare and Microsoft Hyper-V)
- Good understanding of monitoring and logging tools and the underlying principle
