We are an efficient and future-oriented social security service provider with more than 3,600 employees. As a regional provider of German pension insurance, we are responsible for the administrative districts of Upper Bavaria, Lower Bavaria and Upper Palatinate. At our Landshut and Munich locations, we are a competent and reliable point of contact for around 2.9 million insured persons, employers and 1 million pensioners.

Senior Oracle Database Administrator (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Installation, administration and operation of business-critical, highly available Oracle databases in cross-carrier operation
• Automation and monitoring of Oracle database operation in terms of quality assurance, data security and continuous optimization
• Planning and implementation of regular updates to the Oracle database software
• Management and planning of the resources required for Oracle database operation (capacity management, strategic planning)
• Clarification and resolution of complex error situations, if necessary with the involvement of the support service provider (Problem Management)
• Ensuring proper database operation within the agreed service level
• Project management (planning, management of projects)
• Preparation of templates and statements for higher authorities

Your profile:

• Successfully completed university studies in the field of computer science or a comparable field of study, alternatively
  • Successfully completed further training in the field of IT
  • several years of relevant experience in the field of IT
• Several years of experience in the administration of mission-critical Oracle databases
• Independent, structured, solution-oriented and meticulous working style
• Team and communication skills
• Independent decision-making and action
• Customer and service orientation
• Assertiveness
• Willingness for occasional business trips
