Software Developer (m/f/d) Simulator Applications

Erlangen – full-time

We are looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) for simulator applications in the field of energy technology at the Erlangen location as soon as possible. The position is to be filled within the framework of a 35-hour week.

The following challenges await you as a Software Developer (m/f/d) Simulator Applications:

  1. Implementation of control and process engineering requirements in simulators
  2. Adaptation of project-specific TXS applications to customer-specific simulators
  3. Development of new simulator models for modernization projects
  4. Processing of quotation requests and preparation of quotation texts and calculations
  5. Carrying out commissioning of simulator applications at the customer’s premises
  6. Close coordination with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality and customer requirements

Your profile:

  1. You have a degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, computer science or a comparable field of study
  2. You have in-depth experience with the TXS Space Core software and the spacedb Python interface
  3. You have in-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems and the use of virtual machines (VMware)
  4. You have practical user knowledge of Linux
  5. You are proficient in programming languages such as TCL, Bash scripts, Python, PyQT and C
  6. Ideally, you are also familiar with C compilers such as GCC and Visual Studio and have experience in creating and customizing makefiles
  7. A good command of English and fluent German round off your profile
