The University Computer Center of TU Bergakademie Freiberg is looking to fill the following position in the Administrative Applications department at the earliest possible date.
Position: System administrator (m/f/d) – collaboration in service management

Remuneration: Pay group 7 (up to max. pay group 9b TV-L, depending on personal requirements)
Job scope: 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week; part-time possible)
These are your tasks:
- IT service administration and collaboration in service management using a ticket system in the central administration and the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics:
- Workstation equipment incl. hardware procurement and repair as well as comprehensive processing of IT service requests from administrative and academic staff (1st to 2nd level support)
- Software selection, consulting services, subsequent software installation, maintenance and license management
- Printer and print server support including independent performance of all maintenance tasks
- Authorization management according to central specifications
- Comprehensive support of the PC pool of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics as well as organizational safeguarding of courses in the PC pool, the AI lab and other interdisciplinary classrooms

What we expect from you:
- Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or application development
- Experience with hardware and software support in the end customer business
- Confident knowledge of German and good written and spoken (IT) English, confident handling of MS Office landscape
- For classification in pay group E 9b: comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows servers and client operating systems; basic knowledge of the operation of directory services (in particular Active Directory in conjunction with MECM), Powershell and SQL, proven by several years of professional experience or additional further qualifications
- Professional experience in a university environment and / or in project management is an advantage
- Strong customer orientation, ability to work in a team, independent working style, process-oriented thinking
