Your tasks:

1. As a team leader at ORDIX, you will continue to play a specialist role in our customer projects in addition to your organizational tasks. This combination will enable you to provide practical and project-oriented support as well as the further development of your team members.
2. You are responsible for the technical management and further development of the team.
3. You will develop and manage projects in the area of data management with a focus on Oracle databases and cloud solutions.
4. You plan and implement challenging projects / proof-of-concepts throughout Germany.
5. You evaluate new tools and technologies with regard to operational use for our customers.
6. You supervise junior students in their scientific work (Bachelor\’s / Master\’s theses).
7. You work together with our sales department and represent the head of department.
8. In line with our guiding principle \’Knowledge increases by sharing it\‘, you will pass on your expertise to others – both to your colleagues and our students as well as in projects with customers. You can also share your knowledge in our ORDIX blog ( as a speaker in our seminars or at specialist conferences – depending on your strengths.

Your profile:

1. (Technical) university degree in computer science or comparable completed training and at least 5 years of professional experience.
2. Many years of experience in the development and operation of complex data structures with a focus on Oracle databases.
3. Sound know-how in one or more cloud technologies in relation to data management.
4. Very good skills in the performance analysis of Oracle databases.
5. Experience in architecture consulting for data platforms with a focus on database and cloud technologies.
6. Good to very good Linux & Windows server knowledge is a prerequisite.
7. Experience with open source databases is an advantage (e.g. PostgreSQL).
8. You have experience in dealing with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and like to work according to the DevOps concept.
9. A good mix of technical project work and team management is ideal for you.
10. You have initial experience in managing employees, e.g. in the context of project management functions.
11. You have strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as openness, strong communication skills and a high level of customer orientation.
12. Very good written and spoken German (at least B2), you also have a good command of English.
