Accountant (deputy head of accounting)

Accountant (Deputy Head of Accounting) for 40 hours/week

We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have relevant professional experience in accounting and possess the following skills:

• Independent and autonomous working style with a willingness to question and change processes
• Very good practical experience in common MS Office applications
• Strong team and communication skills
• Affinity for numbers, commitment, and a sense of responsibility

We require individuals who are:

• Capable of operating in a team environment
• Able to work in a high-load environment
• Punctual and reliable

Tasks:

• Handle the entire ongoing accounting process, from the cash book to accruals, as part of our 5-person team
• Prepare payment transactions as well as accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Prepare documents for VAT Declaration, ZM, etc.
• Perform accounting according to UGB for handover to the tax consultant
• Actively contribute to the ongoing optimization of the company\’s accounting processes
