Senior Product Marketing Manager – Activation & Retention (m/f/x) role at HelloFresh. Based at our Berlin HQ, you’ll join the International Product Marketing team (part of the Global Brand team) and collaborate with Product and Active Customer Commercial teams. Your mission is to define, measure, and enhance the critical moments that transform new customers into loyal advocates, owning the post-conversion customer journey (onboarding, activation, and habit formation) to drive sustained product usage and global growth.What You’ll DoDeliver Onboarding Excellence: Partner with the Early Customer Journey product and commercial teams to design, implement, and optimize onboarding to reduce time to value and resolve friction points.Drive Retention Strategies: Develop and execute long-term retention & habit-building strategies, with a focus on increasing Customer Lifetime Value and reducing churn across the user base.Lead Customer Journey Communications & Messaging: Own the communications strategy across the early customer journey and craft messaging informed by A/B testing to remove barriers, increase comprehension, and drive key retention behaviors.Collaborate Cross-functionally: Act as a strategic partner to Product, UX, and Commercial teams, driving cross-functional alignment and influencing roadmap decisions that support activation and retention goals.What You’ll BringA Strategic & Passionate Lifecycle Product Marketer: 6+ years in Product Marketing (B2C or B2B), Lifecycle Marketing, Retention Manager, Product Management, or similar roles with a heavy focus on lifecycle and customer journey optimization.An Expert in Customer Journeys and Lifecycle Marketing Strategies: Deep expertise in crafting and executing successful lifecycle strategies, ideally within app-based platforms or consumer-focused brands.Highly Experienced in Product-led Growth: Direct experience with shaping activation and retention strategies in a product-led go-to-market motion.Highly Analytical and Proficient in Experimentation: Expert in understanding customer behavior through data – analyzing retention curves, defining retention metrics, etc. Familiar with hypothesis building, testing, and experimentation to optimize product and marketing tactics.A Master Collaborator: Proven ability to partner effectively with Product and Commercial teams, influencing product development with a customer-centric mindset.
