We are working with an established shipowner in Hamburg who is looking to appoint a Fleet Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Fleet, you will lead a small team of Superintendents and take responsibility for the technical and operational performance of your assigned vessels.
You will stay close to the vessels and their performance, while taking on responsibility for supporting and guiding your team, setting priorities and making sure issues are dealt with properly.
We are looking for someone who has sailed to either Master or Chief Engineer and has good shore-based experience as a Marine or Technical Superintendent.
You don’t need to have been a Fleet Manager before. What matters is that you know how to run vessels, communicate well, make decisions and are ready to take responsibility for a small team.
